Nataniele Ribeiro – 2009 King Duce Girl of the Year

Beyonce, Guess?, and the fashion world all agree that our 2009 King Duce Girl, Nataniele Ribeiro is one of the next top models from Brazil…
That’s saying a lot when Brazil is the international hot bed for super models dominating the runways like Gisele Bündchen, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. We fondly refer to our King Duce Goddess as “Miss Brazil”, since most of us can’t pronounce her beautiful name with any linguistic grace.

I need to give mad respect to my close friend and King Duce director of photography, Beiron Andersson for discovering Nataniele and capturing her in true King Duce fashion. By all accounts, Beiron is one of the great photographers in the game. He first made his mark as a supermodel for fashion brands like Guess?, Calvin Klein, Armani and H & M.

After a hugely successful career as a model, that continues today, he went on to achieve world wide notoriety as a photographer. Beiron has worked with names like Anna Nicole Smith, Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Academy Award winning actress Charlize Theron. The interesting twist on Beiron is that he’s a former military bad ass, drives a four wheel drive truck, and could give Discovery Channel’s survival expert, Bear Grylls a run for his money.
Nataniele experienced this first hand when they went four wheeling through the desert for one of Beiron’s “secret” locations. Beiron has been with me since the beginning and King Duce would not exist without him.

Here’s a sample of the complete photo album you can check out in the photo section of our website.
It’s an honor to announce Nataniele Ribeiro as our first “King Duce Girl of the Year”.
